The Marietta Museum of History will present “Evening with History: “Between the Devil and the Deep Sea”: The Freedman’s Bureau of Marietta, Georgia. Historian Jay Lutz will present his research into how Marietta’s Freedman’s Bureau office aided newly freed slaves after the Civil War. All are welcome to attend this fascinating lecture.
