The Georgia Players Guild presents the music of: Chicago and The Beach Boys @ Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre
May 11 all-day

The Georgia Players Guild performs the music of Chicago and The Beach Boys.

About The Georgia Players Guild: The GPG celebrates two things: the greatest music of all time and the finest musicians in the southeast. Travis Cottle and Jacob Deaton carefully curate each concert by selecting the music of two classic bands or artists. Past pairings have included The Eagles/Alabama, Janis Joplin/Sly & The Family Stone, Willie Nelson/Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, and Chicago/Boston. Travis and Jacob then join those selections with the best musicians for the task, their combined decades of involvement in the music business affording them a long list of the most talented musicians in Atlanta and the southeast. The result is a reverent exploration of some of the most iconic pop, rock, and country music ever made, tinged with the unique talents and personalities of the musicians chosen to make it. The Georgia Players Guild began producing concerts at the historic Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta, GA, just outside Atlanta in 2016. The Strand still serves as its home stage, but the Guild’s reach and demand have already expanded to an ever-growing list of theatres and venues throughout the southeast.
